Urban Decay Spectrum Eyeshadow Pallete Makeup look

We’re so excited to share our first makeup post with you! In this post we will be showing you how to create a great makeup look with the Limited Edition Urban Decay Spectrum Eyeshadow Pallete available only at Sephora (Sephora.com, $55)

But guess what – We are giving away this pallet for free RIGHT NOW on our Instagram page @askmeaboutmakeup – Check us out for more details!

We prepped Abigael’s eyes with Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream (Clinique.com, $26.50). We then applied foundation, contouring, blush, and highlighter – a post with details on this will be coming soon!

After the skin is prepped and the base is on, we went right in and sculpted her brows using the Hourglass Brow Arch in Blonde (Nordstrom.com, $32) – this creates a sharp brow which goes perfectly with this look.

We prepped the eyes using the Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer (TarteCosmetics.com, $20) on the lid, bringing it up all the way to the brow.

We then started using the Urban Decay Spectrum Eyeshadow Pallete in Flatline as our first color choice. We buffed this color all over the lid and all the way up to the brow – This color works great as a base on lighter skin tones –  for darker skin tones, we suggest starting with Daybreak.

Then we used Omen only on the lid area to make it a prominent color in this look. Taking a Crown Brush C433 – Pro Blending Fluff (CrownBlush.us, $5.49) and Backlash we popped this into the crease to create a warm backsplash of color to add depth. Then taking the same brush, we went in with Flashback and buffed it right on top of Backlash.

For the finishing colors, we took Voodoo into the outer third of the eye and created that smokeyness everyone loves! We then used Deep End with a smaller brush and buffed that in underneath the lower lash line.

We finished off this look with a winged liner- using our favorite, Sephora Collection Long-Lasting 12HR Wear Eye Liner in Matte Black (Sephora.com, $12). We decided to pop lashes on Abigael in the end and loved it!

To finish it off we popped NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Golsan (narscosmetics.com, $26) – keeping it fairly neutral to keep the focus on her eyes.
