St. Patrick’s Day Makeup

We don’t know about you, but we love St. Patrick’s Day – after 2 years in Ireland, it would be wrong of us not too! But nobody does St.Patrick’s Day better than Chicago! I mean we dye a whole river green! So we decided this year to come up with an easy, glam beauty look for you to try!

St Patrick's Day Makeup

Abigael came in with prepped moisturized skin. If you would like to see how we got the beautiful demi-matte finish to her skin – you can check out our Beauty Blender post by clicking HERE

What we really focused on in this look was the eye – the windows to the soul! We decided to go with a gold lid with a bit of a shimmer- perfect for flash photography. We brushed MAC pigment in Melon (maccosmetics.com, $22) in a wash on the lid for the extra sparkle-sparkle!!

For the main event we went with a dark hunter green gel liner for the flick – Rimmel London Gel Liner by Kate (ASOS.com, $12) . Using a really thin liner brush to get that perfect flick, we started in the center of the lid to determine how large we wanted to go with the liner. Once we had the shapes down, we connected all the liner together and finished the look. (Pro Tip: Use a business card or scotch tape to create that perfect straight line)

Mascara is key to finishing this look. Wiggle the wand at the base of the lashes to build on the fullness of the lashes. We smudged a bit of brown shadow underneath her lashes for a smokier look, (totally optional). We added Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick in Rosewood (Sephora.com, $28). This color warms up the skin tone and compliments the greens that we used in the eye.

So there you have it! We wanted to create a nice fun look that was still totally wearable day-to-day. Cause guess what – you can wear green liner any day. It doesn’t just have to be St. Patrick’s Day!

This makeup look is…

We hope you enjoyed! And please have a fun a safe St. Patrick’s Day!
